A new shift to basketball development in Northern Ontario
I first met Coach Kyle Beers in North Bay Ontario in December of 2016 and we hit it off immediately. He was coaching a home grown talent named Noah Lapierre (now playing at Brock University). Kyle is the Head Coach of the Sr. Boys Basketball team at Lasalle Secondary School in Sudbury, Ontario. Coach Kyle has been involved with basketball for many years both as a player and a coach and has done a great job of continuously contributing to the basketball landscape in Sudbury, Ontario.
Kyle is a great connector with the youth, he does this by keeping in the loop with his select style of sneakers, he understands the needs for his players future development, but more importantly his desire and commitment to foster an athletic environment that will deliverer positive results and success.
Coach Kyle is no stranger on developing future talented players and grooming their skills. He’s had the chance to work with Great players like:
In this New Year Kyle launched the Northern Lights Basketball Academy, it is an initiative that will be dedicated to working with basketball players on enhancing the skills and knowledge of the game that Kyle has learned. Coach Kyle will also be introducing new concepts to prepare athletes for post-secondary basketball all in a fun and hardworking atmosphere.
Mark your calendars for the date of April 29, 2018 as this will be Northern Lights Basketball Academy first group training session.
